Key Takeaway
- WEEX Auto Earn pays daily interest on idle USDT with no lock-up.
- WEEX Staking pays rewards on coins like BTC, ETH, and SOL. Choose Auto Earn for trading cash and Staking for coins you plan to hold.

Which Should You Choose: Auto Earn or Staking?
WEEX Auto Earn fits USDT you keep for trading. The funds stay in your accounts and can still back futures positions. WEEX Staking fits coins you will hold for weeks. Rewards are paid in the coin you stake.
- WEEX Auto Earn: you hold USDT and trade often.
- Flexible WEEX Staking: you hold a supported coin and want to redeem anytime.
- Fixed-term WEEX Staking: you will not need the coin until the term ends.
How Yield Works in Each Product
WEEX Auto Earn pays a tiered APR on USDT. As of October 6, 2026, standard users earn 10% APR on the first 200 USDT. The portion from 200 to 500,000 USDT earns 3.5% APR.
Key rules for WEEX Auto Earn:
- Interest covers spot, funding, and futures available balances.
- Trial funds and bonuses do not earn interest.
- The system snapshots your balance during the day. Interest is paid at 12:00 PM (UTC+0) the next day.
WEEX Staking sets a separate APR for each coin and term. As of Oct 7, 2026, flexible USDGO staking listed 12% APR on first 200 USDGO. See current rates on the WEEX Staking page. All APRs are estimates and can change.

Flexibility and Access to Your Funds
WEEX Auto Earn has no lock-up. Your USDT stays in your trading accounts. You can trade, add margin, or withdraw at any time.
WEEX Staking moves the coin into a separate product. Flexible staking can be redeemed anytime. Fixed terms commonly run 30 to 60 days. Redeeming early forfeits all rewards, including those already paid.
Requirements and Limits
WEEX Auto Earn needs identity verification and supports USDT only. WEEX Staking supports several coins, with limits set per product. Neither product is open in every region.
WEEX Auto Earn | WEEX Staking | |
| Assets | USDT | BTC, ETH, SOL, WXT, stablecoins |
| Lock-up | None | None or fixed term |
| Minimum | 0 USDT | Varies by product |
| Cap | 500,000 USDT | Varies by product |
Same 1,000 USD in Each Product
At the rates above, 1,000 USDT in WEEX Auto Earn earns about 0.1315 USDT a day. The same amount in flexible USDGO staking earns about 0.1315 USDGO a day.
- Auto Earn: (200 × 10% + 800 × 3.5%) ÷ 365 ≈ 0.1315 USDT per day
- USDGO staking: (200 × 12%+ 800 × 3%) ÷ 365 ≈ 0.1315 USDGO per day
Keep three points in mind:
- Both APRs can change at any time.
- USDGO is a different stablecoin with its own issuer risk.
- For BTC, ETH, or SOL, a price drop can outweigh the APR.
Can You Use Auto Earn and Staking Together?
Yes. WEEX Auto Earn and WEEX Staking can run on one account. The same funds cannot earn in both. Staked coins leave your accounts, so Auto Earn stops counting them.
- Keep trading USDT in WEEX Auto Earn.
- Stake coins you plan to hold.
- Avoid moving USDT mid-day, as this can lower that day's interest.
To start, open the Assets page in the app and switch on WEEX Auto Earn. This Auto Earn setup guide shows each step. The WEEX staking guide covers staking.
