95 BTC Transferred to Galaxy Digital Address
A wallet has transferred 95 Bitcoins (BTC) to a Galaxy Digital (GLXY) address. The transfer is estimated to be worth $7.32 million. According to monitoring by on-chain analytics, this amount is speculated to be used for over-the-counter (OTC) sales. OTC trading is a method where buyers and sellers negotiate prices and terms without being publicly listed on an exchange's order book, often used to reduce order book impact during large transactions. Galaxy Digital is a company that provides digital asset trading and financial services to institutional clients, and when BTC moves to an institutional address, it can be interpreted in various ways, including custody, collateral, settlement, and sale. Previously, 546.8 Bitcoins were transferred to Galaxy Digital, and at that time, the possibility of OTC sales was also raised, but it was not confirmed whether any actual sales were executed. This transfer alone does not allow for definitive conclusions about the counterparty or whether a sale has been executed; further movements or follow-up flows related to exchanges or OTC trading need to be confirmed to distinguish the purpose.

Indexes were mixed on October 8 ET. The long-bond yield touched about 5.35% intraday, near levels last seen in 2002. OpenAI’s annualized revenue of about $50 billion came in below higher figures that had circulated, pressuring tech and chip names. Nasdaq fell clearly, while Dow edged higher. Energy led, with WTI up about 3.2% to about $91. Bitcoin pulled back from about $86,000 and traded near $81,000, down about 5%. September PPI is the focus on October 9.
