Adam Aron Calls Out Robinhood CEO Again, Urges Compliance with SEC Position
AMC CEO Adam Aron posted on the X platform, calling out Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev and Chief Legal Officer Dan Gallagher. He pointed out that Robinhood had previously expressed support for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regarding the tokenization of stocks, stating that tokenized stocks should have voting rights and that companies should have the option to opt-out. Aron emphasized that if Robinhood does not adhere to the same principles in its overseas operations, it would appear quite "hypocritical," urging them not to go against the SEC's position and stating, "Don't slap the SEC in the face."
