The Chaoyang Branch of the Beijing Public Security Bureau reported that the police have launched a criminal investigation into Yixin-related companies suspected of illegal activities. Several criminal suspects, including the actual controllers Tang (male, 53 years old) and Zhao (female, 51 years old), have been subjected to criminal coercive measures. Yixin Group had previously suspended the redemption of its quasi-fixed income products and stated in an apology letter that the group may be insolvent, with a significant debt gap. Yixin has investments in the cryptocurrency and fintech sectors, and its investment funds have participated in financing projects such as Circle, Figure, Matrixport, and Poko.
