Centrifuge Integrates deSPXA and deJAAA Tokens with Ethereum and Base
Centrifuge and Compass Labs have integrated the tokenized assets deSPXA and deJAAA into a non-custodial API. This integration allows developers, fintech companies, and AI agents to trade, deposit, and borrow these assets on Ethereum and Base. deSPXA is a product that provides exposure to the S&P 500, while deJAAA is a tokenized product backed by AAA-rated collateralized loan obligations (CLOs). Through Compass Labs' trading bundling feature, multiple DeFi actions can be combined into a single transaction, enabling users to approve transactions with a single signature from their wallets. In the previous method, separate signatures and gas fees were required for each transaction step, but this API allows multiple actions to be executed with one signature. The assets and private keys are not held by Compass Labs; users manage them directly. Centrifuge announced in its Q2 2026 retrospective that deJAAA and deJTRSY have expanded to multiple blockchains and DeFi services. The total value locked (TVL) in Q2 was $1.6 billion, a 6% decrease from the previous quarter. This integration represents an infrastructure expansion that extends the connection layer of existing tokenized assets, although the actual trading volume and number of participating applications have not been disclosed.
