ElevenLabs Appoints Former OpenAI Executive as Chief Revenue Officer
ElevenLabs has appointed Ashley Kramer, former Vice President of Enterprise Sales at OpenAI, as its first Chief Revenue Officer to drive enterprise commercialization. The company stated that over half of its revenue this year comes from enterprise clients, up from 40% last year, marking a turning point in its business structure. In July, ElevenLabs announced that its annual recurring revenue had surpassed $600 million, with clients including Meta, Stripe, Deutsche Telekom, and Revolut. The company is in discussions with investors regarding an employee stock transfer deal, aiming for a valuation of approximately $22 billion. Amid high computing costs and competition from Chinese companies offering low-cost open-source voice models, ElevenLabs seeks to solidify enterprise paid demand through solutions covering the entire marketing, sales, and customer service process.
