Fidelity Customers Net Purchase of $413.1 Million in Bitcoin
Fidelity customers have recently net purchased $413.1 million in Bitcoin (BTC) over the past nine days. It appears that the net buying trend has continued on all trading days during this period. Marsbit reported that this trend was confirmed by Arkham monitoring data at 8:51 AM KST on the 27th. Since the launch of the Bitcoin spot ETF, Fidelity customers' cumulative BTC purchases have exceeded $10 billion. This figure represents on-chain observational data showing the BTC supply and demand among Fidelity customers, tracking asset flows based on blockchain address movements and balance changes, but it does not explain the actual types of investors or order paths. The net purchase flow of BTC by Fidelity customers is referenced as an indicator for interpreting institutional and customer fund flows following the launch of the Bitcoin spot ETF in the U.S. However, this tally pertains specifically to the net purchases and cumulative purchase amounts of Fidelity customers, making it difficult to broadly interpret it as the overall flow including fund flows from products of other issuers like BlackRock, Grayscale, and ARK.
