Fortitude Mining Appoints Former Hut 8 CEO to Accelerate Reverse Merger Process
Fortitude Mining has announced the appointment of former Hut 8 CEO Jaime Leverton as the new CEO to expedite the reverse merger process with HeartSciences. Leverton will officially take office on September 21 and will lead the newly listed company after the merger is completed, with former CEO Andrea Childs transitioning to CEO. This all-stock merger transaction was announced in June this year, and the merged entity plans to be renamed Fortitude, trading under the ticker symbol TUDE on NASDAQ, with DCG expected to hold approximately 95% of the shares. Fortitude was established in January 2025 as a spin-off from Foundry's self-mining division, producing a total of 72,696 ZEC in the first half of 2026.
