Fraud Charges Against Kishu Inu, Sisemore and Associates Allegedly Made $9.8 Million
Alexander Sisemore has been indicted in Chicago for federal wire fraud related to the Kishu Inu project, presented as a fair launch. The indictment, made public on October 7, 2026, accuses Sisemore and his associates of profiting from undisclosed tokens, deceiving investors. According to the indictment, Sisemore allegedly concealed allocations, publicly claiming that the founders held only 1.7% of the supply. The FBI is investigating potential losses for investors and the unauthorized creation of tokens. The Chicago Tribune reports that Sisemore and his associates allegedly secretly transferred 6% of the total supply to wallets under their control, cashing out at least $9.8 million from the sale. Investors were misled regarding the founders' shares and the project's transparency. Sisemore, 28, founded the cryptocurrency in April 2021, and the token reached a market capitalization of $1.6 billion, attracting around 283,000 holders. Sisemore denies the charges and intends to defend himself. Prosecutors are seeking the forfeiture of the proceeds from the sales and two wallets linked to him.
