Hong Kong SFC Lists King Kong Fund in Warning List of Unlicensed Companies
The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) included "King Kong Fund / King Kong Coin Issuance Limited" in its warning list of unlicensed companies on September 7. This entity had claimed to have an address in Hong Kong and provided a Hong Kong phone number, allegedly conducting unlicensed activities targeting Hong Kong investors, but it has not been licensed or registered to engage in regulated activities under the Securities and Futures Ordinance. Previously, on August 19, the SFC had already listed "King Kong Coin / King Kong Fund" as a "suspicious investment product," categorized as related to digital tokens.
