ProCap Financial Sells Approximately 50 Bitcoins to Repurchase Shares, Now Holds About 5,254
ProCap Financial (Nasdaq: BRR) announced that it has repurchased 2.2% of its outstanding common shares at a discount of approximately 22% to net asset value (NAV) since September 3, funded by the sale of approximately 50 bitcoins. Since the initiation of the repurchase program, the company has repurchased approximately 12.2% of its outstanding shares. As of the close on September 15, the company had 84,937,392 shares outstanding and held approximately 5,254 bitcoins, with an NAV per share of about $3.62. The company stated that it will continue to repurchase shares until the stock price is no longer below NAV.
