Shanghai Financial Regulatory Bureau Explores Privacy Computing and Blockchain Technology for Data Sharing
The Shanghai Financial Regulatory Bureau has issued a document titled "Several Measures to Promote the Application of Artificial Intelligence in Shanghai's Banking and Insurance Industries," emphasizing the value of data elements, promoting financial institutions to strengthen data governance, and improving the data governance system and data quality control mechanisms. Financial institutions are encouraged to integrate multi-source data, build high-quality datasets, and establish comprehensive management specifications for data collection, cleaning, standardization, labeling, and other processes to solidify the foundation of data assets. The bureau promotes financial institutions to build knowledge bases, map knowledge, clarify knowledge boundaries and relationships, construct knowledge management systems, and improve the full lifecycle management mechanisms for knowledge generation, storage, updating, and decommissioning. It also emphasizes strengthening knowledge approval, content quality inspection, and expiration management, continuously optimizing knowledge base content and quality by combining user access data with expert evaluations, and utilizing artificial intelligence technology to extract and form knowledge. At the same time, it explores privacy computing and blockchain technology to conduct data sharing legally under the premise of privacy protection and security compliance.
