Travala to Buy Back AVA Tokens Monthly and Lock Them Permanently
The crypto travel booking platform Travala has launched an AVA token buyback mechanism in collaboration with the AVA Foundation. Travala will independently conduct equal buybacks each month and transfer the repurchased AVA into a multi-signature wallet designated as the Travala AVA Strategic Reserve, committing that the AVA in this reserve will never be sold or transferred. This mechanism increases the monthly buyback volume in the open market to twice the amount of member rewards issued. The AVA in the reserve will be excluded from the official circulating supply, and the wallet address will be submitted to CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko for treatment as non-circulating supply. The first buyback has been completed, with both the AVA Foundation and Travala repurchasing 369,881.04 AVA each, totaling 739,762.08 AVA. Previously, the AVA Foundation conducted monthly buybacks in the open market equivalent to the amount of AVA rewards issued to AVA Smart members in the previous month, transferring them back to the ecological incentive wallet, with a cumulative buyback of 4,824,722 AVA to date.

Oracle and Adobe in Focus This Week |WEEX TradFi Daily (September 8, 2026)
Markets are entering a new pricing window after the U.S. holiday close, with attention shifting squarely to this week’s catalysts. Stronger August payrolls revived expectations for a more restrictive Fed path and pushed yields higher, weighing on long-duration equities. In crypto, bitcoin eased below $80,000, but continued spot ETF inflows suggest institutional demand remains supportive at lower levels. At the same time, AI meme tokens materially outperformed the broader market, showing that speculative capital is still concentrating in high-beta thematic trades. Investors are now watching GME earnings, Oracle and Adobe results, and the upcoming PPI and CPI prints for the next repricing signal.

The Bitcoin price briefly fell below $81,000 on October 9, 2026, its lowest level in nearly three weeks, after repeated failures near $87,000. A bond selloff, weaker tech stocks, spot ETF outflows and a long liquidation wave all added pressure. The $80,000 area is now the key support, while $83,000 is the first level bulls need to reclaim.
