16 Liquidity Providers Among 494 Crypto Companies in Latin America
An analysis has revealed that among 494 companies in the Latin American stablecoin market, only 16 specialize in wholesale stablecoin and fiat currency liquidity. These companies focus primarily on corporate cash management and credit provision. However, due to the lack of actual trading volume and market share data, the concentration of liquidity could not be confirmed. The report pointed out that the vulnerabilities in the system are concentrated in the most fragile layers. While there are many companies selling liquidity, it was noted that there are few that specialize in providing it. Issues with key liquidity providers could lead to disruptions in the process of converting stablecoins into local currencies. As of June 2026, stablecoins account for 32.1% of cross-border transaction value in the Latin American digital asset market, 22.1% in peer-to-peer transactions, and 17.6% in individual wallet balances. The report evaluates the growth opportunities in the Latin American market and emphasizes the importance of redundancy in the liquidity supply chain and capital strength. It also mentioned that a clear licensing system would facilitate the provision of banking services to liquidity providers.
