Fomo Surpasses Pump.fun in Daily Revenue
Fomo has surpassed the memecoin platform Pump.fun in daily revenue, generating approximately $1.76 million on Friday. In the same period, Pump.fun's revenue remained around $1.1 million. However, Pump.fun has maintained its leadership with over $57 million in revenue over the past 30 days, while Fomo's 30-day revenue stood at approximately $17.6 million. Fomo operates as a social trading platform that combines cryptocurrency trading with a social media experience. Users can not only buy and sell cryptocurrencies through the app but also view the transactions of other investors. More than 68,000 users made their first cryptocurrency purchase through Fomo using Apple Pay, with the total transaction volume reaching approximately $25 million. In June, Fomo completed a $75 million Series B funding round, raising its valuation to $550 million. Additionally, on June 11, Fomo launched perpetual futures for users outside the U.S. and allocated significant resources to its referral program to support user growth.

On October 8, 2026, US government-linked wallets moved 12,267 BTC, worth about $1.01 billion, out of a wallet holding funds seized in the 2016 Bitfinex hack, to new unlabeled addresses with no exchange deposit recorded. On-chain data shows movement, not intent, and no US agency has explained the transfers.
