Greenlane Exceeds 11.4 Billion Won in DeFi Management and Cash Assets
Greenlane Holdings is managing approximately $8.06 million (about 11.4 billion won) in a stablecoin-based yield protocol. According to the Q2 2026 report, the company holds 'stablecoin-related protocol products' as of June 30, which include assets composed of aUSDC and sUSDe. aUSDC is an interest-bearing token generated by supplying USDC to the DeFi lending protocol Aave, while sUSDe is used to earn yields by staking USDe from Athena. Greenlane does not classify these assets as cash equivalents, recognizing only a portion of USDT and USDC as cash equivalents. As of the end of June, Greenlane's cash and cash equivalents amounted to $6.065 million (about 8.12 billion won), indicating that the assets invested in DeFi exceeded cash and cash equivalents by approximately $2 million. Additionally, the company recorded $729,000 (about 976.13 million won) in revenue from staking and other yield activities in the first half of 2026. However, the company stated that this management approach carries risks related to smart contracts and protocol liquidity.
