On-chain Security Incidents Reach All-Time High, Blockaid Claims AI Agents Will Intensify Risks
Ido Ben-Natan, co-founder of Blockaid, stated that since the release of the mid-year report in August, the number of on-chain cybersecurity incidents has continued to reach historical highs month by month. Attackers are targeting on-chain infrastructure for profit, which offers the highest return for hackers. As the funds available to AI agents increase, this trend will become even more severe. Ben-Natan also mentioned that Blockaid is currently experiencing one of its busiest periods since its inception, partly due to a significant increase in hacking incidents. Nansen CEO Alex Svanevik predicts that by 2028, trading crypto assets through AI agents rather than manual interface clicks will become the norm.
