Oracle Integrates Swift Blockchain Ledger to Support Tokenized Deposit Cross-Institution Payments
Oracle is integrating with the Swift blockchain ledger to support financial institutions in participating in the payment processes coordinated by the ledger, utilizing their respective tokenized deposit infrastructures for cross-institution payments. This integration will enable financial institutions to add interoperable tokenized deposit functionalities to existing payment services and manage traditional payments alongside digital asset payments under a unified operational model. Oracle will provide pre-integrated solutions through the Oracle Blockchain Platform and Oracle Digital Assets Data Nexus, supporting the hosting of Swift commitment contracts and offering EVM-based enterprise blockchain, custodial wallets, signatures, and smart contract functionalities. Oracle Banking Payments is responsible for linking these digital asset processes with the existing ISO 20022 payment processing systems, allowing payments and tokenized deposit operations to run within the same payment lifecycle.

The Bitcoin price briefly fell below $81,000 on October 9, 2026, its lowest level in nearly three weeks, after repeated failures near $87,000. A bond selloff, weaker tech stocks, spot ETF outflows and a long liquidation wave all added pressure.
