Securitize Launches Trading of Tokenized Stocks on Solana
Securitize has announced the launch of its Securitize Stocks product for trading tokenized shares of 12 American companies, including Apple, Nvidia, Tesla, and Microsoft, on the Solana network platform. Liquidity will be provided by Jump Trading, and settlements will be conducted in the stablecoin USDC. The company plans to expand access to tokenized stocks through the digital platform of the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and the upcoming OKX-ICE platform, depending on the fulfillment of regulatory requirements. Each token will be backed by a real share, providing economic rights such as dividends and voting participation. The tokens will represent property rights to securities rather than direct ownership of shares. Qualified investors from the US, Europe, and other markets will be able to trade assets during extended hours, aiming to ensure 24/7 access to trading. The infrastructure will be supported by RQD, and Ripple Prime is exploring institutional use cases for the assets.

No sale has been confirmed. On October 8, 2026, US government-linked wallets moved 12,267 BTC, worth about $1.01 billion, out of a wallet holding funds seized in the 2016 Bitfinex hack, to new unlabeled addresses with no exchange deposit recorded.
