Upscale AI Launches Token Fabric Platform to Connect Multi-Vendor AI Chips
Upscale AI has officially launched the Token Fabric platform, aimed at connecting AI chips from different vendors within the same data center. The platform combines hardware and software, utilizing devices based on NVIDIA's Spectrum-X technology to achieve interoperability among multi-vendor AI processors. The first version of Token Fabric is scheduled to be released in the fourth quarter of this year, connecting AI chip clusters within data centers, with the complete platform expected to be phased in before 2027. Upscale AI completed a $190 million Series B funding round in June this year, led by Premji Invest, a firm owned by Azim Premji, with participation from NVIDIA, Salesforce, and Singapore's Temasek, bringing the total funding to $500 million and a valuation of approximately $2 billion.
