USDC Surpasses $200 Million in Managed Assets After Launch on OSL StableHub
Circle, the issuer of USDC, announced that after integrating with OSL StableHub for four months, the managed funds have exceeded $200 million, demonstrating strong demand for USDC in the Asian institutional market. OSL StableHub, launched by OSL Group in February 2026, is a one-stop exchange hub for multiple stablecoins and USD, offering 1:1, no-slippage, zero-fee exchanges for various mainstream USD stablecoins and USD. Circle is also collaborating with OSL in areas such as foreign exchange, custody, and cross-border payments, aiming to solidify OSL StableHub's position as a compliant distribution and settlement hub for stablecoins. Currently, the stablecoins supported by OSL StableHub include USDGO, USDC, USDT, RLUSD, AUSD, USDG, and U (United Stables). Circle stated that the combination of USDC and OSL's compliant network provides a one-stop compliant digital dollar liquidity channel for institutional and enterprise clients, showcasing the ability of compliant platforms to integrate distribution, liquidity, and settlement, setting an industry benchmark for the digital dollar market in the Asia-Pacific region.

Indexes were mixed on October 8 ET. The long-bond yield touched about 5.35% intraday, near levels last seen in 2002. OpenAI’s annualized revenue of about $50 billion came in below higher figures that had circulated, pressuring tech and chip names. Nasdaq fell clearly, while Dow edged higher. Energy led, with WTI up about 3.2% to about $91. Bitcoin pulled back from about $86,000 and traded near $81,000, down about 5%. September PPI is the focus on October 9.
