1) Amazon Surpasses $3 Trillion Market Cap as AWS Demand Continues to Outpace Supply

Amazon (AMZN) exceeded a $3 trillion market capitalization for the first time after rallying more than 20% over the past two trading sessions. Its Q2 earnings showed AWS revenue growth accelerated to 36.7%, the fastest pace in 18 quarters, while remaining performance obligations approached $500 billion. The company raised its full-year capital expenditure guidance to $220 billion and said AI computing shortages could persist until 2028.
