1 Crypto Highlights
1)Bitcoin Near $83,700; $84,000–$85,000 Is the Core Resistance
Bitcoin traded near $83,700 and is testing the $84,000–$85,000 cost-cluster zone. On-chain cost distribution shows this area as a major holder-reaction zone. If price cannot hold above it, the market may first retest $79,000–$77,000 support. A volume breakout that holds would digest much of the cost pressure and leave less resistance overhead. Near term, watch whether ETF inflows and major-token volume expand together.
Watchlist: BTC, ETH
Spot: BTC / ETH
Futures: BTC / ETH
2)L2 Scaling and ZK Modular Names Lead; STRK and Others Rally
Among altcoins, Layer 2 scaling, especially ZK and modular names, stood out. STRK, MANTA and MEGA rose together. The move stacked network upgrades, quantum-resistance plans and the RWA narrative. Starknet (STRK) unlocks about 127 million tokens on October 15, about 3.37% of circulating supply. The unlock is limited relative to daily volume, but profit-taking after the rally needs watching.
Watchlist: STRK, MANTA, MEGA
Spot: STRK / MANTA / MEGA
Futures: STRK / MANTA / MEGA
3)High-Performance L1s, Cross-Chain, Gaming and DePIN Shine; MAGIC Leads
High-performance Layer 1s, cross-chain interoperability, on-chain gaming and DePIN stood out. MAGIC led, with IO, FIL and EIGEN following. AI compute, decentralized storage and gaming demand lined up, rotating capital from high-volatility memes into tokens with infrastructure stories. If majors stall at resistance, high-beta groups can retrace faster.
Watchlist: MAGIC, IO, FIL, EIGEN
Spot: MAGIC / IO / FIL / EIGEN
Futures: MAGIC / IO / FIL / EIGEN
2 Stock Highlights
1)NVIDIA (NVDA) Market Cap Approaches $6 Trillion; AI Infrastructure Demand Still Supports
NVIDIA (NVDA) held high after the earlier rally as markets stayed focused on data-center and AI order visibility. Long-end yields are at multi-year highs, but weak labor data reduced the odds of further tightening, and capital still preferred compute hardware. Next is the durability of customer capex and later guidance.
Watchlist: NVDA
Spot: NVDA
Futures: NVDA
2)SpaceX (SPCX) Holds the Stage High as Starship and Compute-Cloud Stories Continue
SpaceX (SPCX) held high after rising more than 7% earlier. A major bank had reiterated Overweight with a $300 target and argued growth-adjusted valuation still trades at a discount to mega-cap AI peers. Starship test progress, third-quarter results and more compute-cloud deals remain potential catalysts.
Watchlist: SPCX
Spot: SPCX
Futures: SPCX
3)Optical Modules and Fiber Hold Up; LITE, GLW and COHR Attract Allocation
Optical communications was relatively resilient in a choppy tech tape. Lumentum (LITE), Corning (GLW) and Coherent (COHR) drew flows. AI data centers still need high-speed modules and fiber, and carrier expansion deals support valuations. High rates still cap overall risk appetite, but the infrastructure logic is intact.
Watchlist: LITE, GLW, COHR
Spot: LITE / GLW / COHR
Futures: LITE / GLW / COHR
4)Ciena (CIEN) Rose More Than 14% Last Week as Optical Demand Expectations Firmed
Ciena (CIEN) rose more than 14% last week, about 15.6% over five days. Peers put out high-double-digit growth outlooks for optical interconnect, while AI data centers kept demanding high-speed modules and fiber links. Capital rotated into the optical chain as semiconductors adjusted. Next is customer capex and order visibility.
Watchlist: CIEN
Spot: CIEN
Futures: CIEN
5)Shopify (SHOP) Rose More Than 11% Last Week on E-Commerce and AI Tool Expectations
Shopify (SHOP) rose more than 11% last week. Markets are watching monetization of AI-assisted tools and merchant services, plus expectations that consumer data is stabilizing. In the broader tech repair, software and e-commerce platforms drew flows. Next is merchant activity and guidance.
Watchlist: SHOP
Spot: SHOP
Futures: SHOP
