Pump.fun Adjusts Callout Rewards Mechanism, Weakens Trading Volume Assessment
Pump.fun co-founder Alon announced that the Callout Rewards program will undergo significant adjustments in the coming days, with some changes starting from today's reward distribution. The adjustments include reducing the reward weight for low market cap token Callouts, no longer using trading volume as the primary basis for rewards, and instead focusing on the actual profits of the followers. Alon stated that the new mechanism aims to create wealth effects for more participants, rather than benefiting only a few skilled traders. In the future, if participants cannot continuously help their followers profit, the chances of receiving rewards will significantly decrease.
