David Schwartz announced an increase in connection stability on the XRPL network
Ripple's Chief Technology Officer David Schwartz announced that there has been a significant performance improvement in the XRP Ledger infrastructure over the past two weeks. He noted that the XRPL hub server has become more stable, with the number of connected peers rising to 501. This level is quite close to the peak of 509 seen in the last two weeks. Schwartz expressed that disconnections in peer-to-peer connections have decreased, but he added that he does not yet know the reason for this change. The graph shared by Schwartz shows that the recovery in the number of active peers between September 3 and September 17 occurred gradually. Users questioned whether there is a theory behind the sudden change and whether an AI-based model was used. Schwartz stated that he does not know the reason for the increase in connection quality, but the outcome is positive. Fewer disconnections provide a more predictable network environment from the operator's perspective.
