Jensen Huang Says AI Labs Must Stop Experiments If They Can't Control AI
NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang stated that if cutting-edge AI labs cannot control AI safety, they must shut down the relevant labs and stop experiments. He pointed out that cutting-edge AI models from companies like OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta, and Google could be "jailbroken" and perform physical actions. If AI experiments produce uncontrollable agents, the relevant labs may face civil and criminal liabilities and must bear the consequences. Huang believes that the current discussion should focus on whether AI experiments are controllable, rather than generalized anxiety about cutting-edge AI.
