Most Investors Plan to Increase Cryptocurrency Investments
Investments in cryptocurrency remain popular among wealthy investors despite the market decline in February. A survey by CoinShares and Vardaxoglou Advisory revealed that the majority of respondents in seven countries own digital assets and do not intend to give them up. The study was conducted from May 11 to June 5 and covered 2,230 investors. The share of digital asset owners ranges from 54% in Sweden to 70% in the USA, UK, Germany, and Switzerland. Investors are more optimistic than advisors: 56% of advisors point to the high volatility of digital assets, while most respondents view crypto assets as long-term investments. On average, digital assets make up about 10% of the portfolios of those surveyed, and 77% believe that Bitcoin will become an important part of the financial system. About 79% of respondents support the regulation of the digital asset market, including actions by the US authorities. 57% of investors stated that President Donald Trump's personal business motivates them to invest in cryptocurrencies. 91% of investors from the USA, UK, and Germany plan to increase their investments by the end of the year. Bitcoin remains the primary asset for diversification: 80% of respondents working with digital assets have it in their portfolios. 89% of Bitcoin owners also hold other cryptocurrencies. 55% of survey participants prefer to buy cryptocurrency through intermediaries.

Energy led, with WTI up about 3.2% to about $91. Bitcoin pulled back from about $86,000 and traded near $81,000, down about 5%. September PPI is the focus on October 9.
