Abstract network to cease operations on December 15, 2026; customers must transfer crypto
The crypto network Abstract will cease operations on December 15, 2026. Customers must transfer their cryptocurrencies before this date, or they will no longer be accessible. Abstract, which was intended for apps, games, and digital collectibles, had over 400,000 users but failed to generate sufficient activity and revenue. The company behind the network, Igloo, has lost tens of millions of dollars in the past eighteen months. Despite partnerships with well-known brands like Disney and Red Bull Racing, trading through the network lagged. Igloo considered launching its own cryptocurrency but ultimately decided against it due to a lack of demand. Users are encouraged to transfer their crypto via the official page and are warned about scammers and fake websites.
